3. Abandoned Cart Recovery SMS

This abandoned cart recovery strategy is almost similar to the abandoned cart recovery email strategy, the only difference being that in this strategy SMS is used instead of emails. SMS has a high click-through rate and SMS establishes a direct line of communication with the people.

Exit pop-up can actually help in preventing people from leaving your site without making a purchase. Exit pop-ups are automated text pop-ups that show up when a visitor shows an intent to leave your e-commerce site.

Exit pop-ups that have a compelling offer for the customers can actually change the visitor’s mind of leaving without purchasing the product they added to their cart.

Exit pop-ups are a very effective marketing strategy as they appeal to the customers who have a strong intent to purchase the products, they have added to their carts but for some reason, they are not confident to make the purchase, in this situation, an exit pop-up with a tempting offer of like, providing a discount of 25% might give them the final confirmation they need to make the purchase.

Exit pop-ups prevent many shoppers from abandoning their carts by offering just what the shoppers need to make a purchase at the right time.

5. Multichannel Strategy

There are so many strategies you can use to re-engage the cart abandoners. You can use the abandoned cart recovery email strategy, or you can use the abandoned cart recovery SMS strategy or the web push notification strategy or you can also use the exit pop-ups strategy. But the best strategy is to use a combination of all these strategies for abandoned cart recovery.
